2014 Dodge Dart Could Be More Efficient than Its Predecessors

It's no secret that Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram customers like their cars to be fuel efficient.  After all, having a vehicle that doesn't guzzle gas is both kind of the environment and wallet-friendly.

Many of our customers also are big fans of the Dodge Dart.  So, how would you feel if we told you that the 2014 edition of the Dart could see a sizable MPG boost?  Pretty happy, right?

We've heard that the next model year of the Dart will have the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that Dodge uses across its new lineup instead of the engine that was used on the 2013 edition, which got a respectable, but not stellar, 21 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway.

New reports show that the Dart's new 2.4-liter engine will be revised to get better fuel economy than the engines in other models.  It's anticipated to get as many as 36 mpg with a manual transmission, and 35 with the automatic.

We have to wait for the EPA do release its official testing numbers, but we're sure the Dart will deliver on its promise to be more efficient than its predecessors.

While we wait to hear more about it, stop by our Vicksburg, MI dealership to check out the models that we have available right now.  Our team is ready to answer any of your questions about the Dodge lineup and can schedule a test drive for you in the model of your choice.
